Design


Efficiency, usability and safety are the key issues of the Aerorider design. The result is an attractive, futuristic tricycle that grabs attention wherever you go.

The copyrighted, aerodynamic shape results from computer modelling and extensive research in the wind tunnel of Delft University. A very low drag coefficient, lightweight composite construction and an efficient asynchronous electric motor result in minimal energy consumption.

The big canopy opens forward to give easy access into the Aerorider. There is plenty of luggage space under the seat and in the back. The large windows offer a spacious feeling and an excellent view at the traffic around you. These windows can be taken out to enjoy the sunny days.

Driving

Sporty, active and fast...without getting exhausted?!

The Aerorider is a hybrid. Human and electric powers combine giving a 45km/h cruise and the ability to overcome hills without breaking into a sweat. The bucket seat supports the entire body and has a head rest. It leaves you comfortably able to focus on pedalling – and pedalling efficiency is maximised due to the recumbent position and seat-adjustability.

Battery range depends on how the Aerorider is used and on the terrain. The more you pedal the greater the range, slopes and frequent acceleration reduce it, so range varies between twenty and eighty kilometres. Various battery options allow the Aerorider to be tailored for your needs. The battery charger can be plugged into a standard mains outlet. The more advanced batteries, which are lighter and smaller, can be removed from the vehicle.
